The most common of Pallet Racks used in warehouses across the country. These simple Upright Frames and Step Beams are available with a large selction of sizes and accessories. With Single Deep Rack Systems, you get 100 percent Selectivity, but you also get the maximum number of aisles.
DOUBLE DEEP PALLET RACKS
Also called Two-Deep Pallet Racks. These racks have the same capabilities and flexibility as single-deep racks. They are different in that materials (pallets) are stored two-deep along each aisle. This system will require a special Two-Deep Fork Lift attachment but will provide higher storage density.

DRIVE-IN PALLET RACKS
Drive-In Pallet Racks are effective and economical when storing significant quantities of identical items. Tunnels are formed by the racks into which the Fork Lift Trucks drive palletized loads elevated to the desired storage height. This configuration is called "drive-in" because pallet loads cannot be removed from the opposite end. This means the Storage/ Retrieval scheme is Last In, First-Out (LIFO).
DRIVE-THROUGH PALLET RACKS
Drive-Through Pallet Racks differ from drive-in racks in that loading and unloading can occur at either end. In general, drive-through storage takes up more floor space than drive-in storage because there are twice as many aisles. In some operations, the cost of extra aisles can be offset with savings associated with a FIFO Storage/Retrieval scheme.
PALLET FLOW RACKS
Pallet Flow Racks receive loads at an aisle and gravitate on free rollers or wheels to the other side of the rack. At the other end of the rack, units may simply be removed for transportation to other locations or the pallet can be "picked from" to produce orders or kits. Flow racks can also be set up for Carton Flow. Flow rack schemes are FIFO (First In, First Out).
PUSH BACK RACKS
Push Back Racks attempt to combine the self-transportation feature of Flow Racks with the space-saving, single aisle feature of drive-in systems. A push-back system is a LIFO scheme. Depth of storage in a simple push-back system is limited only by the force that can be exerted by handling equipment. Generally, systems don't exceed four deep.
CANTILEVER RACKS
Cantilever Racks are special purpose racks usually used for strong long narrow loads, such as pipe or structural steel. Cantilever racks have central columns from which arms are extended to one or both sides. Loads are placed horizontally across two or more of the arms.
CARTON FLOW RACKS
Carton Flow Racks are often used in pick lines for small parts. It is available in stand-alone, or can be installed within pallet rack Upright Frames.
WIRE DECKING
Wire Decking is used with Selective Pallet Racks in place of plywood as a safety guard to reduce the possiblity of worn or broken pallets falling and damaging goods, or falling and injuring someone. These decks have load capacities of 2500 to 3000 pounds.
